Narrative Writing

Finding the balance between fiction and non-fiction writing is remarkably difficult. I don't say that to promote myself, but to note how strange it can be to jump between writing an academic paper one day, mechanics for a system that doesn't yet exist another, spending my morning before work writing a piece of first person prose, and my evening writing narrative text in third person.

I write in many different ways, and am learning to write more effectively across genres. You can find examples of all of them on this site. Less my academic work (unless you really want to know about floodwater driving and personality traits), because this site is more about unrestricted creativity.

On my homepage, you can find links to my current character blogs - they are all first person prose - they're immediate responses to the events of previous TTRPG sessions.

Here, though, here will be my own little space on the internet to place longer form narrative text. A few of the games I play spark a deeper urge to narrate the story from my character's point of view but take in a little more of the world.

One day, when these campaigns are over, there may be space to collate these chapters and bring them together into something cohesive. A novel or graphic novel. Either. Both. When I write, I write to engage the senses. I think in senses. I hope you enjoy what you find here.
